THE WOODLAND INTERPRETIVE TRAIL is the most charming and varied 1.5 mile loop trail in Big Bear, CA. “Interpretive” references sequentially-numbered points of interest with related descriptions about the local trees, rocks, and wildlife. The terrain and plant life changes along the way, becoming more interesting and dramatic with each turn.

Located on North Shore Drive (Highway 38), just 0.25 of a mile west of the Stanfield Cutoff, and 1 mile east of the Big Bear Discovery Center.
